Responsible Minerals Initiative Conflict Minerals Declaration
We are aware of and comply with the conflict minerals reporting obligations set forth in Section 1502 of the U.S. Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform Act, Rule 13p-1 under the Securities and Exchange Act and EU Directive 2017/821.
Nordic acknowledges the responsibility not to support or contribute to violence and violations of human rights in connection with the mining of conflict minerals in the Democratic Republic of Congo and surrounding countries. Our company has drawn up a policy statement on this which is attached.
Because Nordic is a contract manufacturer (EMS) and not a component manufacturer, we do not maintain or provide conflict mineral information on any products that pass through our processes.
To obtain information about component content, you must obtain the information directly from the manufacturers. The manufacturers are the only source of accurate information about the substances and chemicals including any conflict minerals used in the manufacture of their products.
Nordic uses tin in the process to assemble components to the printed circuit board. We can provide RMI-CMRT documentation from our suppliers upon request.
Since Nordic is an EMS and not the manufacturer of solder, we cannot certify the accuracy of any information provided by any third parties.
